Technically he's a very very good footballer. He is quite one footed but that's not uncommon for lefties.

Criticism for his previous performances was totally justified. He’s now had 25 caps for Scotland, in a number of them he wasn’t great and that’s being kind. Last night he did well, helped by how passive Serbia were as it gave our midfield time on the ball they surely couldn’t have expected. Be interesting if his next few performances are like last night or of the level he was being criticised for.
