1st Croatia goal was a mistake from McCrorie. Their 2nd goal was wonderful.
1st Scotland goal was a bad goalkeeping mistake. 2nd goal was a good cross from Harvie and a great take & strike from McLellan.

Aye. Croatia should beat Lithuania at home so we need to beat Greece away. Croatia won 1-0 over there so no reason we can't reverse our loss v Greece in the home match.
Presume we are listed top ahead of Czech cos of the head to head as we have a poorer GD than them. If so, given that we have to win v Greece anyway, it might help our cause if Greece lose to the Czechs tomorrow, so our game v Greece is a real dead rubber for them.

Doohan belongs to Celtic. Was on loan at Ayr last season and has recently taken over from Laidlaw in goal at Ross County
McLellan is a very good player
Johnston as you say at 22 years old and no appearances for Liverpool followed by only 1 appearance for Feyenoord in over a season. Needs to go to a level where he will play when his Feyenoord contract is up in the summer. Feyenoord paid £500k for him. They must be hacked off.

Think UEFA have messed the table up.
After today's match the commentators said Scotland have 18 points
The table shows we have played 9 matches but only have us winning 4, drawing 3 and lost 1.
18 points puts us up with the top teams and makes sense of us qualifying if we win next Tuesday in Greece.

Nah when is that ever a red card. He wasn't being aggressive to the ref at all imo. The guy refs in Italy he will have heard much worse imo. Clearly trying to even it up a minute after the equaliser.

Yet it was and the referee will justify it in his report. Could be a case of cultural differences but that is part of playing International football.
If your opponents have a player sent off you know to be aware of the risk of evening up.
Such judgements are part of being a high level professional player.
Gilmour should have been concentrating on trying to help his team take advantage of having an extra player.
Schoolboy error.

Asked him why he gave a foul against him. Honestly can't believe would have said something that bad to get a straight red. Just looking at Gilmours face he was genuinely bewildered. The ref is from Italy he will be getting abused on a regular basis no way he will send off players for that.
