This thread title should get everyone excited...

I have a truly beautiful mouse mat with a picture of Alex Cropley, arm aloft, after scoring in the 7-0 game. However, it's knackered because of idiots in my house placing hot cups of tea on it. Because of my advanced years, I have absolutely no memory of where I bought it (pretty sure it was online though) and an hour of googling last night found nothing similar.

Anyone know where you can order such a thing?

Thanks in advance, and apologies for the dullness of the question. (Still, takes your mind of all the ranting after the last two games...)

If you can find the picture itself at a decent resolution, there are loads of places that will put it on a mouse mat for you.

Is it this image (https://alchetron.com/Alex-Cropley#alex-cropley-5c2b5305-ae9a-4b4d-a428-63257175dc8-resize-750.jpg)

I just googled it and coudn't find it either so perhaps your original is a custom mouse mat.
The link below is to a company I found that make up a custom mouse mat from an image or design provided by you.
https://www.spreadshirt.co.uk/-C10181?productType=993&appearance=1&affiliateID=1245883&gclid=CjwKCAiA17P9BRB2EiwAMvwNyDoeRfbcCT7sSjh5K8DG 45NgtUt5-jxByZJa5egh-Z8_XxBA-uay8RoCwaMQAvD_BwE

P.S. I see a couple of guys have beaten me to it and Wookie has probably provided your original image.

Good luck

yup!

The image is fairly small but as it isn't great quality to start with it will blow up fine to mouse mat size. If you need a bigger version I can resize and email to you, just ask, it's no bother

On a more generic note: Does the Hibs Online Store still sell Mouse Mats?

I had a look a couple of times recently and couldn't find any, and I wondered if there wasn't as much demand for them now.

Oh yes please - I actually just came back on to say it wasn't high enough resolution and to ask if anyone had one that was better. So that would be great - thanks very much indeed. I'll pm you my email address. Cheers.

Yes, a very big majority do.

Yes, a very big majority do.

How do you know this?

I don't and only 1 person out of 10 at my work does.

There’s not a real need for them these days though is there?

Depends on the state of your mouse and desk.

Well, this is fascinating chat - who started this nonsense?

I dunno, I've pretty much never seen anyone who uses a computer not use one. Maybe offices are different.

I use one and I thought it was Arthur too.

It is, but don't call me Shirley. Shirley that picture is of Arthur Duncan? It is Arthur Duncan and not Alex Cropley before he grew a moustache. That's Arthur not Alex who grew the 'tache. Alex never had a 'tache as far as I'm aware.

Me, the Missus & my Dad.

That's only three people so not a big market, I suppose.

Cheers for that. I honestly see no one use them anymore. Where I work I visit many offices and work stations across our business units and not a single one of them has a mouse mat. Even when I visit our main office in Edinburgh no one uses them. Anyway who cares, Scotland are the best national team in the world again!!

The reason I use one is that my computer sits on a glass table which the mouse won't work on alone.

Hence the mat.

I've been in the loft this morning and I've got a few mouse beds, do you want any? 😉

Lots of people find using a Mouse much more efficient than a 'track pad', plus many workplaces are doing away with laptops (e.g. mine) so using a Mouse is the only option.

The Mouse works a lot better on a Mousemat than on a smooth desk, as the Mouse detects the movement more accurately because of it's design (regardless of the colour or pattern).

But it's just not trendy, apparently...

Why not use a mouse mat in that case?
