Sharp pain under left arm and like a knife stabbing me on top left shoulder. Sheer agony. Phoned 111 and waiting for a reply. Anyone had similar or know what it could be?

Hope it’s nothing serious. If you ever need to speak to a doctor urgently in the future and it’s during surgery opening times, phone your doctor and say it’s urgent and need to speak to duty doctor right away. I work in a surgery so Experience this everyday.

Cheers guys have a scan this morning to check for a clot on my lung. Pain seems to be less severe but I’m optimistic 😀

My wife was ill with what sounds like the same thing. They did same check and found nothing.

Put it down to pulled muscles and sent her home with tablets.

Still not right a week letter but pain has eased.

It’s exactly what they think mate. They’ve ruled out lots with scans and bloods and now just waiting for medication.

Thanks buddy. Out now Codine helping but no danger I’ll be able to sleep with the pain. Haven’t eaten in a week. So weird like.
