I notice that clown Ross is on the line today. How can he travel from a level 1 Covid area to run the line in a level 3 COVID area.

Because he's travelling for work.

Is it essential though

I'd say so if he's called up by the SFA to run the line in a match then he'll be a key worker.

Professional sport's allowed to continue in all levels of the framework. For that to continue, I'd say it's essential to have assistant referees.

Football in general is not really essential.

It doesn't have to be an essential job. Travel for work you can't do at home is allowed.

He should work from home for every game.

Surely there must referees assistants closer to Hampden that could run a line.

It's really irrelevant to be honest.

Under the tiered framework, you're allowed to travel outside your area for work if that work can't be done from home.

Clearly his work can't be done from home.

My point is that it is not his main job.I am sure somebody else closer to Glasgow could do it and further reduce any risk involved in travelling.

To be fair to him he's probably protecting his future employment as it may well become is main job 😅

Wonder what "rage" Hearts will use to get them fired up against Celtic in the final?

I hope the Hoops really rattle them.
