As much as his name is football related I think this belongs elsewhere.

As do I.

Strange place to offer condolences especially to one that has not been in the limelight of TV for over 20 years or so.

What does twanging your braces on stage and saying Rock on Tommy have to do with Hibs?
Should probably be on the Oldham fans forum on thread entitled "Bobby Ball has gone out"

While I agree this is not the right forum for this particular thread, I can understand why it has been posted.

More people than ever are using internet forums as their main place for chatting/socialising. It just goes to show that people view this place as a bit of a community.

'Benidorm' and 'Not Going Out' both recent award winning comedies both of which he made better. He has actually had a steady stream of work since Canon and Ball stopped performing.

I'm sure I remember seeing him in the pantomime at the Kings years ago.

To be fair, he only made a cameo appearance in one episode of Benidorm. That aside he did play really well, the hapless father in Not Going Out, who “allegedly” got up to no good in his past. Expert casting by Lee Mack.

I guess it wouldn’t be too out of place to amend his catchphrase today to “Rock on Bobby”. RIP

At least 3 Hibbies in the cast.

Don’t know if it was a repeat, but there was a program on earlier about Bobby Ball, I’d forgotten how funny he was, it was a very moving tribute to him.
