Glad common sense has prevailed and all eligible clubs have the opportunity to participate. The earlier soundings of drawing clubs out of a hat for who’s to miss out was a horrendous idea.

Not too sure. Will probably be reviewed after the competition ends for next season.

I would like to see all cup games straight forward knock outs.

I'm assuming its e/t and penalties if need be? Hopefully not, don't think my heart could handle a pen shout out against that lot🤣

I too would like to see this a perm change. And I believe in France the home drawn team can request to play away if it's a bigger team. I.e Stranraer v Hibs, Stranraer could give up home advantage to coup better gate money, a change I would also like to see explored.

I thought in France all lower league teams are automatically at home to give them a slight advantage? Could be wrong, just sure I’d read that before.

If this rule had been in place last season, we would have had a penalty shootout at Tanadice. Don't think I could have stood that. Come to think about it, would we have survived penalties at Tynie in 2016?

When the draw pairs teams that are 2 leagues apart (eg. 1st & 3rd tier), then the lower league team automatically becomes the home team. Often they will move the match to a bigger stadium, but I haven't heard of a team giving home advantage to their opponents.

Hibs may not have won the cup in 2016 without a reply. I am happy for them to be reintroduced it also means Big teams might get money spinning replays.

I don't mind replays in the Scottish cup under normal circumstances. It can actually be brilliant for smaller clubs. In this situation though scrapping replays is a good decision.
