Winning 3-0 half time against San Marino and looking very good to qualify.

Beat or draw with Croatia at home (depending on how many goals we score tonight) then win against a poor Greece side.

Would be nice if Lithuania could draw with the Czechs, but theyre losing 1-0. Tiebreaks are head to head, so we win it against the Czechs
Hornby scored again---is that him now joint top scorer in U-21 history for Scotland?

Is there any way to watch it?

Mind our very own Kevin Harper banging the goals in for the 21s and never getting a full cap !

We seem to have had a decent u21squad for years not but never seems to continue to full team level a few years later.

Add Billy Gilmour & Mikey Johnson and its a very good U21s.

Would need to do a proper check but it seems that the best under 21 players from most countries are already in the first team.

Think that's it. Even looking at England; Mount, Rice, Rashford, Sancho, TAA all had a good few caps for their age. And another half dozen or so sniffing around with the odd cap.

Other than Tierney I can't think of anyone who has been close to 1st choice / regular.

Yes, it's been happening for years. You'd think some of our top class investigative journalists would have already asked the question and more importantly have collected the facts.

What % of u21 players make it through to the senior team and play more that (say) three games?
Or ask the question another way, how many of the senior team played for Scotland in the u21s?

Below is the team against Slovakia - anyone estimate how many of these players played for the u21s? I'm going to guess maybe three at most. How does that compare with the other 'top' teams?

Marshall
McTominay
Gallagher
Considine
O'Donnell
Fleck
McGinn
McLean
Robertson
Dykes
Fraser

Albeit not many made the step from u21 to full team with John Fleck for example finishing with the u21 team in 2012 and getting his first full cap in 2019.
