Got to say I feel a bit for Gullan. Despite it being against a team at a much lower standard he is (by the looks of it) playing a lone striker role, something we don’t play regularly.

Much easier playing up top with someone.

Ross has also said many times he doesn’t see Gullan as an out and out striker but more of a left of a front 3.

Hopefully he plays well and takes his chance as I think he could be very good for us.

Looking forward to seeing Magennis get a good run out tonight.

Also hope Mackie gets some game time. He looked really good under Lennon imo however seems to have been poorly managed by Heckingbottom. Hopefully he’s fit and gets his confidence back as there’s a player in there.

Agree with that ,really like McGinn he is doing a good job but what I would give for a fully fit David Gray a real captain and leader.
Unfortunately unlikely to see that again , injuries have taken it's toll .
A legend like everyone off the players that day , his winning goal is something that no one will ever forget.

In fairness Gullan should have scores from the first corner of the game.
There doesn’t seem to be the same structure to our corners as there is when our regular team plays.

He should be telling them, though. This is his formation and team. He should have them pressing high, stopping Brora getting out. The gap between the defence and midfield and then midfield and attack is laughable.

I know it’s only a glorified kick about but nobody is giving Jack Ross food for thought here.

The formation doesn’t really suit the attacking players and we look like we’re just coasting through this.

I’m not all that impressed, albeit we were brilliant for 15 minutes.

Yep none of them can have any complaints about not being in the first team.

We need to run at and in behind them. The safe sideways passing is really poor, no one showing any adventure. If players like Gullan are trying to stake a claim they need to do better than this, especially against opposition of this level.

When we actually played with a bit pace for the first 20 minutes it was absolutely fine. Players have been lazy IMO.

Hibs been absolutely dire since about 20 mins onwards. Giving ball away, sloppy and not working hard enough to find space. None of the fringe players other than mallan making any impression. Drey Wright has given the ball away about a dozen times.. so poor.
