It’s a great day to announce it and will make the club more money with the timing hopefully.

Yup there has been a steady stream of these link ups.

I’m sure none of them are for mega bucks but I’m also sure that by the time you add them all up they will be making a difference to the clubs income.

Also bodes well for when relatively more normal times finally arrive and we start to see the investment in more advertising space etc at the stadium.

Small steps but I think you can already see the effect that Ron is having on putting a bit more emphasis on Hibs being more commercially aware.

It's great to see all these wee partnerships developing though and finally it seems we are trying to maximise our commercial side of things

Impressed with the work of the commercial dept of late. Definitely looks like there has been a change and they are stepping up the gears now.

More good news though I’ve never tasted it. Not that it matters I’ve never drunk gin or placed a bet with Marathobet.

With Mr RJ Gordon being in Edinburgh the commercial Dept appears to be getting more deals .

RG mentioned ages ago that they would look to do several smaller deals to make up for not having one major sponsor. This will just be another part of that, similar to the ball trimmer or Beep taxis etc.

I thought a group of fans were covering the cost of the "Thank You NHS" sponsorship so that the club would get the same income as a commercial sponsor would pay?

For all the times I've heard the name carabao cup, reading this article is the first time I've found out it's an energy drink.

I wonder if this has an element of fund-raising in it with a selling point of these commercial partnerships is that their brands will be promoted via the digital screens once installed and the money we are getting in from these deals will go some way to fund those screens allowing the money we had earmarked for the project at the start of the season to be used on the squad and see us through this season.

No doubt something they will regret.

Still, they say any publicity is good publicity - even if it’s attached to a bunch of lower league cloggers in manky strips.

Apparently the Hurtz are their "Mixed Berry" drink as there is no single natrually occuring fruit that gives you a colour that rhymes with broon
