Well, who do you think?
They'll be the usual favourites, like Bayern and Liverpool. There will be those that never seem to make it, but will be good options like PSG, Atletico Madrid and City. There will be those teams that have won it before, but are in the transition like Man United, Chelsea, Barca, Real Madrid. Or maybe an outsider.
Group A: Bayern Munich, Atletico Madrid, Salzburg, Lokomotiv Moscow
Group B: Real Madrid, Shakhtar Donetsk, Inter Milan, Borussia Monchengladbach
Group C: Porto, Manchester City, Olympiakos, Marseille
Group D: Liverpool, Ajax, Atalanta, Midtjylland
Group E: Sevilla, Chelsea, Krasnodar, Rennes
Group F: Zenit St Petersburg, Borussia Dortmund, Lazio, FC Bruges
Group G: Juventus, Barcelona, Dynamo Kyiv, Ferencvaros
Group H: Paris St-Germain, Manchester United, RB Leipzig, Istanbul Basaksehir

This year, I'm going for Sevilla. They were pretty impressive in winning the Europa League, and will be looking to step up and win the Champions League.

For the last few years, I've done the "Who's going to win the Champions League" poll. It usually generates a lot of interest, as I'm led to believe that this is a football fans forum where like minded individuals come on here to discuss football.
Every year, there's always the 'person' who comes up with the "who cares" comment. I really do despair at times. If you're not interested, please do us a favour and keep that to yourself.
There's many a thread that I'm not really that interested in, but I would never think of saying "who cares".

If Real Madrid can get Hazard fit, they definitely have a chance.
Bayern and Liverpool favourites, though. PSG also in there if Veratti can stay fit.

Hard to care when largely the same teams have been playing each other in this tournament for years.

Unless Bayern have regressed by quite a bit then nobody is getting close to them again this year.
They are the best club side we have seen since the Barcelona team circa 2010/2011.

I would argue they aren't even the best Bayern side in that time. 2013 side had Lahm, Robben, Ribery and Schweinstiger in their primes. That team was slightly better IMO.

No English side has ever beaten Atletico Madrid in a European knockout tie under Simeone. They have started the season well too, Chelsea will need to be at their best to get through that.
Man City, Bayern, Atletico, Liverpool, Juventus, Barcelona, Sevilla and Atalanta all to reach the quarter finals for me.

A more general wonder, but why do folk go out of their way and take the time to post on a thread about a subject they have no interest in just to tell people they’re not interested.

Barca were dire defensively. City must fancy their chances the way they have hit form.

Well half way through the quarter finals and it looks like Real Madrid, Manchester City, Chelsea and PSG in the semi finals.
Wouldn't rule out the German teams yet, though.

I still think Bayern will qualify. City should have enough to avoid losing to Dortmund. Chelsea and Madrid safe I think.

I think thar Bayern have it all to do. Their defence looked very vulnerable against the pace of Mbappe. PSG have three away goals which could be a major advantage.
Bayern need to win at least by 2-0, 3-1, or 4-3 to go through.
FiveThirtyEight have PSG on 70% probability of progression as against 30% for Bayern.

Tbf, Bayern absolutely battered them last night. Clearly the better side but missing Lewandowski. And as he is also missing the second leg, I think PSG will go through.

Yup. Bayern were the much better team imo but Lewandowski is understandably a huge loss.
I’d put PSG as slight favourites but I don’t think Bayern winning by 2 away to PSG is too difficult to believe.
