I'm yet to see it again. At first glance it looked to me we had a player hacked down on the goal line when the ball was bouncing around Rangers' box. It wasn't even mentioned.

For me it was a pen

I thought it should have been a pendant the time. But not seen it since

Haven't seen it but did get a very brief mention on the radio. My son, who did see it, said it would have been given at the other end.

Soft. We'd have been raging if it was given against us.

My initial reaction was yes pen.
But if they slowed it down, discussed it and showed it umpteen times like they did hanlons intervention.i might have been able to be more conclusive on the shout.

Not seen it since and none of us have as Sky obviously didn’t deem it worthy

Penalty and a sending off. Ref bottled it.

I will wait to hear what Kris Boyd says as the voice of reason.

Too bad Sky didn't think it was worth a mention, never mind a replay. Too busy making excuses for the Huns and blaming Hanlon/Porto for their monthly arse collapse.

I jumped off the couch during the scramble and was screaming for a penalty and was waiting for the replay??? I'm still waiting! Looked like whoever it was definitely pulled doidge by the arm just as he was trying to put it in the net

I must have totally missed it, can't think of any real penalty shout.

What was it that happened?

Coisty thought there was nothing in it.
But off side, red card, poor defending by Rangers, great goals for Rangers, blah blah blah.

Yes. Rangers defender had a handful of Doidge’s shirt. Ref couldn’t see it unlike the constant fouling and dissent by Tavernier which he turned a blind eye to.

More likely that Sky decided against showing it again precisely because there was a tug on Doidge.

Second half. Rangers keeper makes a good reaction save, the ball is put back into the box and and is pinging around. I'm not sure who the Hibs player was, but he was cleaned out when standing near their goal line. Nae replay, nothing.

If it was a penalty it had to be a red card, I thought the hun player pulled his arm as well as bringing him down.

100% a pen but we got away with the Porto handball last week so I'm not too upset.

Def pen, but as someone earlier said we got away with it last game, buuuut, if it was at the other end, mmmm
Oh and if I was asked if I would take 2-2 before the game,, absolutely.

Sportscene give full post-highlight coverage of Hanlon and Porto's bookings. No discussion about Defoe's elbow or the pen.

They don't show any contentious decisions which may be to Hibs benefit.

Of the top of my head, Broadfoot handball v Killie, Bartley red card tackle v Livi today's penalty shout.

100% a pen. Doidge puts hands out towards Barisic (who is already falling) but doesn’t make contact, and Barisic grabs one arm and pulls Doidge to the deck, just as he’s about to pull the trigger. He then immediately does the hands by the side, I’m innocent movement, with the Ref looking right at it!
I struggle to understand why neither Sky or BBC Thought it worthy of comment or replay.

That's never a pen if its the Doidge incident in the box.

It should have been a penalty, Doidge is pulled down - no question.

When you look at the free kick that the ref gave against Gogic for a “pull” on Morelos, and by that i mean he touched his arm and Morelos screamed, then it’s much worse than that.

Not sure it was a pen and be raging if it was given against us.

That was a stonewaller, as was one earlier in the second half from a corner where Helander had his top up over his head running towards the goal. Don’t know why refs are such bottlers with clear decisions.

A replay would have been nice; I'm still none the wiser. You can bet your life we would have had a dozen replays, had it been at the other end.

Doidge was pulled back, the reaction of the Hun players said it all. Penalty if it was in our box

I'm still waiting on a replay for when Jarkko Wiss was hacked down in the box against the Huns at ER - 2003 maybe? Mind you, that was when Setanta covered the SPL, and when the Huns team came up first on the screen before KO, you just knew how biased the coverage would be.
