I think I read someone on another thread say the 2nd of the saves was instinct. It absolutely wasn't, keepers work on that reacting to the 2nd ball constantly in training, they never let it just go dead. That today is hard work on the training ground manifesting itself on the park.

He’s winning me over again after losing a bit of faith in him last season. He’s a goalie that does give you more than a few flutters but his overall body of work at Hibs has been mainly points saving saves ... it’s hard not to appreciate that!

Man of the Match for me. World class double save and an excellent save earlier in the game for me. Only thing he done wrong today was. It be vocal enough in giving Porteous a shout which ultimately ended up in us giving a corner out of nothing. Other players were also culpable but I'd be looking to my keeper for that shout.

The Kent and then Arfield double save are the equivalent of scoring a brace for us.

If memory serves I think that is/was your position PB? Same for me though a long time ago! You are so right with your comments, it’s getting up and making the second when you’ve no time to get into position that makes that the key.

He may be doing “what he’s paid for” but it was as good a double save as I’ve ever seen, breathtaking

If other clubs come calling, and we must have players on other club’s radars, we need to remind him and any other targets that there is a Scottish Cup final to contest before Christmas. I’d hate to see any of our current first team players leave before then. A couple in would be nice though.
