I went a week past Thursday. It was a mixed experience really. The equipment had been spaced out with antibac spray and hand gel available. You were meant to wear a mask in the corridor, changing room, etc. Unfortunately, this seemed to be something most of the younger clientele ignored. A member of staff was trying to enforce it but he was only one guy. Additionally, there was a PT was ignoring social distancing and not giving his client time to wipe the machines after use.
This was one of the budget type gyms.

Similar experience for me only a handful wearing a mask coming in and out.

My gym has been decent enough.
Temperature scanner on the way in. You need to wear a mask as you enter and leave but its your own discretion once in the main hall.
Hand sanitiser and cleaning products all round the gym for cleaning after use and before if you want.
I've not seen anyone use a mask in the gym yet. We tend to go when we know it will be quieter anyway.
Must say it felt really good to be back at it.

Snap Fitness down here is pretty good.
You book your slots (no just turning up), then the machines are spaced out. Wipe before and after use (which you should have been doing anyway, well definitely the after wiping).
Temp scanned when you go in when it’s manned. No scanning after hours.
