Here's our chance!
I can see it already!
"What about Scotland? What games have they got to offer?"
"Well I watched 3 Hibs games on Sky recently, they scored once and conceded once across the 270 minutes - both were penalties"
"Offer £500 million"

Interesting, wonder what the reasons for that is if it isn't political
Also wonder how it will affect the insane finances down there

I presume they’re not commenting further as it’s in the hands of the lawyers now for breach of contract.

Under normal circumstances that would be a reasonably easy case to win but in the current climate I wonder if the courts will look sympathetically on the companies who plead poverty?

Chance for the SPFL to give them our rights for 20% of that then. 😉

Did the Chinese government not ban the showing of the EPL? Can’t remember if they did or only threatened to but that would further cloud the waters.

Usually Petrie that gets the blame

Almost certainly political in retaliation for the UK's recent positioning on Huawei and Hong Kong.

They've specifically said it's not political so it would hardly be an effective political move

Is it not the EPL who have said its not political that they have ended the contract? They have said its down to non-payments. The question is whether the non-payment was politically motivated?

That’s my take on it. They probably don’t want to burn any bridges and are making it clear it’s down to non payments. It will leave it open to negotiate another deal when the waters are less choppy.

Buy a Chinese internationalist
They’ll come flooding to watch us
Set up a Mandarin version of the site for shirt sales and we’re laughing
