Wee bit before my time, but I remember the Rollers being mind-bogglingly massive. A couple of the older girls in our street were obsessed with them, along with Donny Osmond.
I see Mitchell was the first Roller not to have been born in Edinburgh. Anyone know much about the rest of them? Any of them Hibs fans?

I think most were hearts fans. I knew the longmuir brothers through family friends. I was at their parents house on the evening of 1/1/1973. 😁👍

That saddens me, especially at a relatively young age.
Whilst I hated the Rollers with a passion, as I grew older I became more aware of just how much they were ****ed over.
Love or loathe them, all of these guys should have been millionaires

I'm sure at least one of them stayed at Caledonian Crescent in the 70's.

Never met them but one of their sisters is a hibby.
The whole saga of the Rollers was pretty sad.
Only ever met Woody, he was sound, a quick Google has this listed

Not sure of any football allegiance, it was all business at the time.

I worked with Billy Lyall a very early roller and founder member of the band Pilot and later joined Dollar. Billy sadly died in the 80's of Aids related diseases. Such a lovely guy and very talented musician.

That might have been where the new year party was 👍
