So Hibbie Andy Murray comes back from major hip surgery to compete in a Grand Slam tournament and in his first match he comes back from two sets down to win.
And jambo Stephen Hendry is to make a comeback to play on the World Snooker Tour.
So what's your favourite comeback - Hibs or non-Hibs?
Mine is the two dugs and moggie in The Incredible Journey.

The Falkirk semi is the obvious choice, but getting beat 2-1 with 10 minutes to go in the Scottish cup final and winning 3-2 wins hands down.

Honourable mention for Liverpool’s champions league win in Istanbul, and last years Barca win

The Falkirk semi springs to mind first - that was an incredible game of football to witness.

I kind of forget/don't acknowledge that the final was a comeback but I guess by definition it was and it isn't going to be beaten in terms of outcome.

Being 2-0 down with 10 minutes to go and getting a money spinning replay out of it.

A few years back a female friend of mine was being chatted up by some drunken no-mark in a pub.

Obviously thinking he was in with a chance, he said 'how do you like your eggs in the mornin', darling?'.

Quick as a flash, she replied, 'unfertilized, thank you!'

I thought that was a fantastic come back.

:greengrin brilliant!

Tynecastle 2016 is my favourite. Followed by the comeback in the Final.

liverpool in 2005 was an extraordinary game, and Manchester United against Bayern in 1999 remains the most incredible 3 minutes of injury time I’ve seen.

a notable mention for George Best’s British football comeback in 1979 at our grand old team. Oh and Hands off Hibs improbable victory against Mercer.

Funnily enough that was the first one to come into my mind, even though there's been more illustrious examples since. Any time we're a couple of goals down late in the match I always think of that game. Seldom happens, of course, but there's always a chance.

Reminded myself I backed a horse called Run Over in the 80s in a non-descript hurdle race at Donnie and going down the back it was out of sight and tailed off - by 50 lengths according to the commentator who said you can forget about that one. But it came sluicing through the field before the last like it was in a 5 furlong sprint and won going away by 10 lengths. Found it on You Tube here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ti3lQLU73jU
Often wondered if there was a stable lad hiding down the back straight with a Daktari gun to dart some adrenalin into the horse's arse.

A terribly old joke I'm afraid, but still quite amusing.
I believe the more modern version of the comeback is "**** you, I'm Vegan."

If I recall correctly, Maurice Malpas put Utd 2-0 up with a rare goal. Sure there was less than 15 mins to go at that stage, but might have been more than that. Evans was a real supersub that day!

Years ago I was in a pub in Glasgow with a bunch of pals. One of my mates had been eyeing up a girl at the opposite side of the bar for a while and eventually, after catching her eye a couple of times, plucked up the (Dutch) courage to go and introduce hiimself.

She replied "Hi Andy, I'm so glad you came across. I've been dying to tell you to f** off all night".

Oh how we laughed!

that’s one of the most amazing things I’ve seen! How on Earth did that happen?!

another great comeback that springs to mind was Alex Higgins against Jimmy White in the 1982 world championship semi final. A fantastic break of 69 when he was on the verge of elimination saved the hurricane. Almost every shot made out of position. Not a very nice man by most accounts but by god he was box office

"Rangers" coming back from being dead to get a couple of promotions and beat us in a cup final with a rasping winner from Andy Halliday was tough for us to take but you have to respect them for having the bottle to do so.

If only we'd had the guts to drag ourselves back into that game.

The Final was the most significant but after Rangers beat Celtic I always thought we were in a 50/50 game if given reasonable refereeing. So it has to be Napoli as that was off the scale.Just fortunate to be at both games. Oh the Matty Jack v Dundee United was memorable.

In football it has to be the comeback to set up the money spinning replay.

Elsewhere, it has to be the Glaswegian woman who who flashed at and without breaking her stride she told him to "put it away, I've seen a man's "

In season 1960/61 we lost our 1st 8 league games of the season. We finally beat St M 4-3 at ER at the end of October 1960. 2 months later we went to the Nou Camp & scored 4 en route to knocking Barca out of the Fairs Cup. We finished 8th out of 18 in the league.
