Absolutely amazing news! Was absolutely consigned to losing him this window, but his wife extending her deal in the women's team gave a glimmer of hope.

Best signing we could have made. Protected our asset value as well, so we are guaranteed winning either way now with Boyle. I reckon he loves it here, wife is settled and he is featuring regularly (when fit) for Australia via his contributions to us - he has a great chance to go to some major tournaments with them in the future and we will ensure he keeps getting the spotlight shone on him domestically.

If you listen to the Mathie episode of Longbangers I think it tells you what the club do to make the players feel part of the club. I think that has a lot to do with Martin’s decision to re-sign. This is part of what LD said when she first came to Hibs, that she wants players to want to be at Hibs and feel at home here. We’ve seen it on a number of occasions since she joined. Players like Marv and Fonts, both have a great love for Hibs. You can never underestimate the power of being a great place to work, it is often priced above extra cash.
I think all the hard work behind the scenes at Hibs is paying off with signings like this.
But please have a listen to Longbangers, it’s an informative hour and Mathie is surprisingly open about how Hibs try to operate with players.
Oh and well done Hibs and Martin for getting this done.

We went to the Primavera music festival in Barcelona back in 2018. We had quite a few beers one day and for some reason I dropped a fair bit of money on a Barcelona shirt with "STEVENSON 16" on the back.
