Ally McLeod, Tony Higgins, George Stewart (?), Arthur Duncan, Erich Schaedler, Willie Murray, Des Bremner, Bobby Smith, Roy Barry, Jim McArthur, Alex Edwards, Lindsay Muir, Pat Carroll, Derek Spalding.
1976 - at the airport on the way to either Socheaux or Osters....

Ian Munro and Joe Harper are there, it's not George Stewart.

Great stuff :aok:
Recognised a few but thanks for naming the whole lot and what the game may have been.
I’m hoping Jack Ross takes note and sorts himself out a natty pair of platform boots to replace the white trainers of late.

I have seen this image before.
I am starting to think it might be Liverpool away ?
Joe Harper, Iain Munro and Roy Barry were long gone by the time we played Osters and Sochaux
Look at the look of trepidation on the faces and there is no Pat Stanton even although he travelled :greengrin

White trainers are the thinking man’s footwear. They’re unfairly lambasted.

Might not be an airport. for instance, I wonder if this is related to the Liverpool trip 1974/75 with the players waiting to picked up at a hotel or similar.
I say this because Roy Barry played at Annfield, and he can't have played in other European games.
Is that maybe Stanton's head (glasses) in the background poking up over Lindsay Muir's head?
No Blackley or Brownlie either.

Think you're right, I saw Lindsay Muir and I didn't think he was with us as far back as that. The Liverpool game was 30 Sept 1975 and now that I've checked I see he didn't make his debut till March 76 so he must have been along for the experience.
Great pic! Here's a puzzle, Lindsay Muir's 1st game for Hibs was in August 1976. Roy B's last game was in April 1976 but both are in pic! Why is Roy only person not in club gear, was there no one brave enough to tell him?

How times changed. I just initially glanced that those three - couldn't immediately name them, to my shame - and just thought they were looking at someone's phone. It's like I can hardly remember a time when we didn't do that.

Roy Barry is asking Micky to pull his finger.
