I used to live in Almunecar, such an amazing place, I wonder if the lad is from there?

Came from Hearts last season, played in a few Development games, then broke his arm I think

A culdesackie?

I think that’s too subtle for some. Made me laugh though.

I saw him on loan in the Lowland League last year and he didn't particularly stand out. Good luck to him though.

Interesting move . His new club seem to be in about 7th tier of Spanish football ( maybe lower - in a provincial league in province of Granada ) but very different set up to their present rivals . Club trains twice a day though players ( mixture of foreigners with potential and locals ) only get paid accommodation and food and are obviously expecting to go up leagues in coming years . Graeme Mathie said 3 or 4 years ago that Hibs had a strong scouting network in Spain so maybe this is first sign of contacts being used . Have read his new club`s players have complained about harsh treatment from opponents who resent rivals in such a low division signing foreigners and training full time so should be an interesting experience for the player . In a lower league but also play junior teams of big clubs in friendlies . With no development league team , may be first of several such moves .

I think he is Austin MacPhee's step-son.
