Technically it's the Highland Academy and built for use of ICT, Ross County and others in region, it covers 3 sites too apparently and not just the indoor pitch.
Completed in 2006 I think

You could say using County, a smaller club with far fewer resources than Hearts, as an example is better. It shines a light on how poor it is of Hearts to not have their own training facilities. Especially given all the money they've *****ed up against the wall over the years.

We only have a barn with a 7-a-side size pitch in it, hence why we are wanting to build something to accommodate a full-size pitch indoors at east mains. Therefore using Hibs in that example wouldn’t have been relevant.

There is a point to be made about the suggestion hearts built their training facilities rather than just renting the facilities built at oriam but I don’t think it’s worth getting this worked up about it.

From what you put up here he was right. Ross County did have their Training complex before Hearts. You can have a say about him if you want, but wanting hibs to have a word with him for something he said which is factually correct, in another capacity... Your probably one of those that weren’t happy with him turning out for RangersTv also. Chill out.

I’d like to say the OP has a fair point to make. In isolation it may seem trivial to some, but it’s one of a number of myths perpetuated by Hearts and then the mainstream Scottish football media as fact about that lying club.

Hearts haven’t built any indoor training centre and have no intention of doing so. This is something really important to challenge because most of these clowns will sit in a social situation and say that the Oriam is theirs. They SHOULD be building an indoor training centre, the obscene amount of money they’ve ran through their grubby fingers the past 25 years on sky high salaries trying to constantly prove they are a big dominant club. The fact they haven’t committed any of those millions to actually building an indoor training / youth facility speaks volume about their culture.

So, Hearts have cleared all debt left by Romanov, Hearts have a great youth conveyer belt, Hearts always sell out Hampden and derbies, Hearts are nearer to the OF in size than they are to Hibs and Aberdeen, Anne Budge is a top businesswoman, Hearts have a 20,000+ stadium - and Hearts have a world class indoor training facility. All of that is utter ball ox, but they love believing it and it’s rarely challenged in the media.

I watched the "Match" prior to kick off. His pun about keeping his Whitts about him, looked staged, and he doesn't look entirely comfortable interviewing, just in my opinion. I find him a bit too smug.

If not then bad. I have stuck with Hibs TV under various guises since the earliest days when Stuart Crowther was in charge and weathered the blackouts etc which used to be common place then. On Saturday I watched Tanner (about whom I know absolutely nothing) smirking his way through an interview which, as other posters have said could have been conducted by just about anybody.

Towards the end of the match I lost the (excellent) picture several times and when the picture goes so does the commentary. I am a fan of Cliff Pike and wonder why he could not do the interviews and by paid accordingly. I would be quite happy to see him conduct a half time interview with a pie in his hand/mouth.

If you’re talking about his remark about the training centres...

At best (for him), you’re completely overreacting to something that he didn’t explicitly say. At worst (for him), he made a trivial mistake that is ultimately irrelevant to the point he was making.

Either way, it’s really not that big a deal.
