Tried to get informed but just can’t unravel it. Too many countering definitions of what a transsexual person actually is. Seems to be a mix of genuine people who are transitioning or attempting to, into another sex, and loud attention seeking bores - all heterosexual men- who want to assume some kind of victim hood by dressing as ‘women.’.

It's enough to make a poster "threadblind".

Boxy, but good?

Not much to look at but feels good once you're inside.

Interesting read about an area where about 1 in 90 boys only develop testes and a ***** at around age 12.

Its understandable that trans women do not want to use male public toilets. It wouldn’t be safe.

Use of changing rooms in clothes stores is more controversial but seem , and I was not aware of this, because of the tendency for shops to provide communal changing rooms.

Now men don’t use changing rooms in shops nearly so much but I’ve never seen a communal
Male changing room. They’ve always been individual cubicles. If women had this there would be less of a problem.

Another thing the council messed up. It will get better once it extends out to Leith as planned.

There’s a story today about the death of a 16 y/o trans girl (boy who identifies as a girl?) who’s mother wants to use her frozen sperm to have biological grand children.

I don’t an issue particularly but for me it’s more about how do you explain that to the as-yet unborn kid how they came to be? It’s already had such an unconventional arrival, what a job it would be to provide a bit of normality to that life.

If the trans girl had a partner, and had planned to have children in the future with them, then that’s fair enough. Perfectly reasonable.

The mother claiming that she’d been asked to use the sperm “if anything ever happened” doesn’t sound likely to me. She’ll be grieving, and that can affect people in strange ways, but she doesn’t have the right to a grandchild in this way. No way.

How come there is frozen sperm available?

It was frozen a couple of years before she died, because she was transitioning and may have wanted kids in the future.

It would appear that that which doesn’t seem likely to you has indeed happened if sperm has already been frozen. And who are you to tell someone they don’t have a right to a grandchild using frozen sperm?

Naw it doesnt appear like that at all actually.

It looks like someone who was transitioning wanted the opportunity to be a parent, so froze some sperm.

I don't even know where to start with the bit in bold! Firstly, who am I? Wind your neck in. Secondly...no I don't think a grandparent should have the right to create a grandkid from thier childs DNA. I find the concept a bit ridiculous.

Thats not what you said previously. At least be consistent. As for winding my neck in, behave.

From the various stories I read, the young woman refrained from using hormone therapy until she was old enough (14) to have sperm stored for future use, her plan to use a donor egg and surrogate to realise her dream of her own family.

And who are you to tell someone they don’t have a right to a grandchild using frozen sperm?
Currently, under UK law, the parent of Ellie has no right to use the sperm. Whilst grandparents have rights, they don't have rights to unborn children.

Do you get single sex communal changing rooms these days?
In my experience they're all cubicle style, my wife can't think of any communal ones either.

Yeah, they are still born with the foundation of a reproductive system to support the production of small gametes, so still born male.

Saw this used in a bad faith arguement about sex not being dimorphic. It's like climate denial for the "be kind" movement.
