Looking at Billy's On this day thread I am amazed at how many games we have drawn on the opening day of the season. With that in mind I will go for 2 2.

What does everyone else think?

Hard to tell given the strange pre season we’ve had. I was reading Killie have signed 2 goalies this week and their main man up top Eamonn Brophy is going to miss the game.

Always optimistic on the opening day so I’ll go 3-1 Hibs.

I’m not sure what it is but not feeling confident after the short pre-season and our form last season.

What’s the situation with Doidge ? Missed some games and we are going to then play him??

I hope we see the best of KN in a position that suits him.

A win would be good boost though but I worry we will concede goals which was a key theme last year.

To be positive, I think we’ll be top scorers in the league (outside the big two). Whether we can keep them out will be a different story. We should be a decent watch.

I don’t know why so many people are writing Kilmarnock off this season. Yes they’ve had 12 players leave them but have since brought in

The players they still had are decent too, guys like Stuart Findlay, Brophy, Power Dicker, Burke etc.

Going by the Kilmarnock fans forum they’re confident they’ll get top 6 and have liked what they’ve seen. Seem to think the media are making things out to be worse than they are as they’ve not heard of the players they’re signing.

They also think Dyer will fire the players up and his team talk will be about how we’re the only club in Scotland not streaming it for away fans....

Brophy seems like he will miss today’s game but Dicker May have recovered.

Basing a team talk around Hibs not offering a pay per view service today would be one of the strangest things I've heard in a long time.
