Think the largest kids size was 11/12 . Jumped from that to a medium adult.

Will the shop be open on Saturday, going to get the wee man his Hibs strip before we go on our hols on Sunday, would be nice to get him it before we go, speaking of strips I found my first Hibs top the other day when clearing out cupboards it was the p and d windows from 87, I would have been 9 when I got it, they must have been made small as I got the laddie to try it on who is only seven and a wee guy, was skin tight on him, what a strip that was, brought a wee lump to throat seeing him in my Hibs top, what a feeling, then I think how lucky he is as he has had a Hibs strip every year since birth, I would love an Adidas strip again, similar to what Arsenal done this year

Have you ordered the strip? If so, you’ll get an email when it’s ready for collection, they are dealing with deliveries first. If you haven’t then there are no strips available for you to walk in and buy.

Thanks, no not ordered yet, always like to get him to try it on first but will just get the size up from last year which from memory was a 3XS, I didn't think and assumed I would be able to go into shop and buy it, no big deal, he will just have to wait a wee bit longer.

Normally that’d be the case, think with the NHS branding and the lockdown the club put out yesterday that once these orders are all out they will then be taking a second batch of pre orders that are expected to be delivered in September. Have a wee look at yesterday’s press release on the official site, has a few questions and answers that’ll give you most of the info you need.

The next batch of preorders is scheduled for the next few weeks, with delivery in September... I would anticipate that there won’t be any for walk in and buy til September also.

It was 24th April. Hopefully since pre orders were a few months ago we are able to fulfil the orders made in the first month or so in this batch they are sending out

the team in the shop are working through an initial delivery of around 7000 strips. You'll get an email as soon as it's left the building for delivery or one to say when it's ready for collection. Because of health guidelines they can only do so many collections a day.

Be long before September if you were able to order. All pre orders have been delivered to hibs (7000 or so), 1500 first batch sent out already, working through shop and deliveries each day. At the very latest I’d imagine a week or two. Email two days ago saying sent and delivered this morning.

Lucky you. I'm still seething that my order has been binned without any explanation other than that it can't be fulfilled until September despite the order having been accepted in April.

I appreciate they are dealing with unprecedented quantities but surely a request for volunteers to have been willing to wait would have been the pragmatic approach rather than randomly choosing orders not to fulfill e.g. mine which means my children won't have them for their holiday:(

Don’t really mind the utilita but bit disappointed that no option not to have Eden Mill, each to their own and whilst I have nothing against the product don’t feel we should have alcohol adds on the strip,

That said the strip looks better in the flesh than the pictures, I’m pleased with it. Absolute bummer for anyone who’s order was delayed to second phase, small consolation that the strip is a cracker and worth waiting for.

I'm guessing it was based largely on what arrived in the delivery. Maybe they got a shed load of mens Large and XL shirts but precious few youth ones?

Frustrating for sure but clearly they will have had issues with the supply chain.

I’d be surprised if any orders for female strips aren’t fulfilled.

I don’t think they’d send out orders if they couldn’t all go together either which might explain other people being bumped.

I'm not one to have a pop at the club normally. But I've got £80 worth of sodding vouchers for the shop I've had since February that I can't redeem on line and now I see Hibs taking pre orders for a second batch of strips in September that I also wont be able to take advantage of. I E Mailed the club at the start of the week about this and still haven't had a response.

I've bought a season ticket for matches knowing I cant attend them and I contribute to HSL. I don't expect any special treatment for that, thousands have done the same like me to help the club through a difficult time, but the fact is Hibs have my £80 and I have nothing for it and no way to buy the item I want with it. I know I'm not the only person in that position, you would think some arrangement could be made, either to make redemption of the vouchers possible on line or to set aside some strips to allow folk holding vouchers to buy one in the shop.

To add insult to injury a few months back I got a PM from an admin on here telling me that the club wanted to get in touch with me. I gave him my name, E Mail and telephone number which I presume he passed to the club, I waited and waited and heard nothing ... obviously curious to find out why Hibs wanted to contact 'NAE NOOKIE' I eventually E Mailed them to ask ... no response .... considering they went to the bother to contact an admin on here asking him to get my real name and contact details for them the least they could have done is respond to my E Mail ... After all they have no problem filling my in box with promotional stuff, so I know my E Mail account isn't the problem.

I'm usually the first to compliment Hibs on their customer service, which up until recently I've found to be very good .... but in the last few months I have to say my personal experience has been poor.

Not to derail the thread about people’s shirt orders but I just want to add that I think the strip looked fantastic on the team on Saturday. Even aside from the message on the front I think the colour combination of beautiful emerald shirts with the darker green socks looks really smart. Probably my favourite hibs strip for years.

My top came today via Royal Mail put through the letterbox. I didn’t, though, receive an email advising it had been dispatched. As I had asked for my name to be put on the top I thought this might have been a reason for not getting the top last week. Store might have been trying to get as many ‘unaltered’ tops out as possible first which makes sense. If you are waiting on an email then the order might have been sent out anyway. Really like the new strip.

I'm not one to have a pop at the club normally. But I've got £80 worth of sodding vouchers for the shop I've had since February that I can't redeem on line and now I see Hibs taking pre orders for a second batch of strips in September that I also wont be able to take advantage of. I E Mailed the club at the start of the week about this and still haven't had a response.

I've bought a season ticket for matches knowing I cant attend them and I contribute to HSL. I don't expect any special treatment for that, thousands have done the same like me to help the club through a difficult time, but the fact is Hibs have my £80 and I have nothing for it and no way to buy the item I want with it. I know I'm not the only person in that position, you would think some arrangement could be made, either to make redemption of the vouchers possible on line or to set aside some strips to allow folk holding vouchers to buy one in the shop.

To add insult to injury a few months back I got a PM from an admin on here telling me that the club wanted to get in touch with me. I gave him my name, E Mail and telephone number which I presume he passed to the club, I waited and waited and heard nothing ... obviously curious to find out why Hibs wanted to contact 'NAE NOOKIE' I eventually E Mailed them to ask ... no response .... considering they went to the bother to contact an admin on here asking him to get my real name and contact details for them the least they could have done is respond to my E Mail ... After all they have no problem filling my in box with promotional stuff, so I know my E Mail account isn't the problem.

I'm usually the first to compliment Hibs on their customer service, which up until recently I've found to be very good .... but in the last few months I have to say my personal experience has been poor.

Sorry to rant on here .. but clearly there's no point doing it directly to Hibs because they wouldn't bloody read it anyway :fuming:

Tbf you were/are entitled to feel peed off. But I'm not sure hibs could have done anything differently. They are not in charge of what stock arrives and have clearly been let down by the supply issues. I Paid £132 on the first day for an adult strip for my son whose birthday was in May and an infant strip for my grandson whose birthday was in july but its now August and they are still awaiting receipt of the order. I was especially disappointed that my grandson's strip had not arrived for his 1st birthday.

They have taken the money and not provided the goods withinn the timeframe stated and all i have seen is a home strip update last week saying they will be sent out for the end of july.

Every year is the same with a new stip being advertised and not appearing or just appering before the start of the new season.

I have given respect for the delay due to the Conved 19 situation but this delay is taking all the goodwill feeling away from having the NHS tribute strip.

When are we going to see these strips Hibs, last we heard was they were sent to the printers to put the logo on them. Last year we paid £5 extra to have the foundation logo added. Why couldnt this have been done the same way and inhouse?

The money taken could be sitting in my account earning interest for me but instead its in their account getting interest and i still havent received my order.

I never rushed to order one, as there was no timeframe on when they'd be sent out. And I never seen this farce coming, it's usually pretty easy to get a top. So now I need to wait on more becoming available before I can even order one and then who knows how long it'll take to actually receive it. Absoloute farce for the price of the thing. Unless you chose a different postage option (Although I think there was only one) I didn’t get an email from Royal Mail and didn’t have to sign for it on delivery. Hibs May have a number they can track though

One thing I can highlight is to return to the original order confirmation email and double check if collection or delivery was selected.

I’ve seen a few email confirmations and the template is the same for both options - collection and delivery (noting supporters address at the bottom). Clubstore are working through queries at info@hiberniandirect.co.uk and updating, do contact them to investigate where needed.

Sent an email enquiring and got a standard auto reply saying they are not replying to emails.

Its a strange one as most people have received theirs no bother.
It only takes a few missing ones like yours and some bad customer service to create a poor impression. In all the years of ordering stuff from Hibs through the post, I've never had any bother.

I haven’t had a problem before iether but a few others are saying they haven’t had theirs and we were all notified at same time Bingo went into the shop and his was there when he expected it to be delivered so will phone and check next week in case that’s what’s happened to mine but I wouldn’t of opted for click and collect but if it’s there great
If it’s not then will ask Club to sort it out and sure they will Have just ordered the third kit

The dispatch email was a bit confusing, I only cottoned on when I realised I had paid £52(£47 for strip, £5 for sponsor) if I had went for delivery it would have been £5.95 more on top of the £52

This is a good call out - double check the amount paid (The confirmation email from April is useful too (appreciate that feels like a lifetime ago)).

i received an email at last saying that the strips for my son and grandson were on their way to them.

Hopefully they will arrive soon or the wee one will have grown out of his already!
