Can anyone who watches games live on Hibs TV tell me what the quality of the picture is like and what you watch it on ? I have watched some of the freeview highlights on a large screen tv and tbh the quality wasn't great (it wasn't a lot better on a tablet) it was pretty fuzzy and difficult to tell players apart. Are the live games better ?

Thanks.

Thanks. The streaming quality is good the vast majority of the time. I "only" have a 42" tv, but the image is fine when I cast on to it.

Fairly often during a match there will be the odd person going mental because their stream isn't working, but given that everyone else is fine then I don't think the issue is with the output from Hibs TV.

48" inch TV, I watch actually through Hibs tv directly from the website on my fire TV, picture is superb always.
Very rarely experience any issues with the video as well.

Great service.

Quality is always good even at away games as they all use decent providers and I am particularly fussy when it comes to HD etc.

Not been on the board the last couple of days but not seen this mentioned elsewhere...?

Heard that Hibs TV cannot show our home games to season ticket holders if the game is being shown on Sky Sports?

Can someone clarify this?

I'm sure Hibs confirmed you can

I’m sure all games are available to season ticket holders, don’t think clubs will be able to sell pay per view games that are on Sky, which has screwed over Hamilton a bit as they are only doing pay per game for next season.

OK thanks for the quick reply? Seemingly they were speaking about it on Superscoreboard last night.

They said it was a bit of a grey area at the moment

Ah that might be what they were discussing. Makes more sense right enough.

I watch it on a projector. As long as your normal streaming is decent you will get HD like quality.

The thing i wish could be sorted is for it to work on the Edge browser on Xbox. For whatever reason, it crashes every time i try to log in. I don’t want to share my phone screen to the TV to watch it because I’ll use this for .net and Twitter.

Thanks for all the replies. Good to hear the quality is excellent, the freeview videos had me worried the live games would be the same as those.

You can change the picture quality on the bar at the bottom. If it’s on 1500 (HD) , it looks good on my 55” tv. If it’s on 200 then it looks blurry.

Others are spot on here, season ticket holders can see all home games on the enhanced Hibs TV (even if on Sky).

Sky won’t allow clubs to sell PPV on Sky televised games.

Good call outs regarding the HD options (200,500,1000,1500 previous options like the attached) - https://twitter.com/kieranpower85/status/1279115384625532930?s=21

Kieran, do you know when ST holders will be getting access to Hibs TV again?

No specific date passed on to me C but well in advance of season starting I’m sure - if I find out more I’ll let you know.

That's embarrassing, I hadn't seen that. Changed it to 1500 and quality is excellent. Thanks a lot Cammy.

Can someone clarify (and sorry if covered on countless other threads): if you subscribe to Hibs TV but you're not a season ticket holder, do you get to see live closed-door games? Or is that just for season ticket holders (and those not in the UK, I presume)?

Hibs TV will operate the same as last season if you are not a season ticket holder

You don't get live closed doors games if you are in the UK or ROI

Getting nervous about that, I see TV listings for Arabzone and Motherwell TV for their games but not Hibs, plus Hibs TV not listing upcoming games. Kind of out of the loop many miles away.

Everything is cool

Imagine the uproar if fans have paid up to £400 for Season Tickets and there is no live streaming of games?

It will happen

I don't think Hibs TV lists upcoming games. For the past couple of seasons viewing/listening details have been confirmed on the matchday information published on the official site the day before each game.

They used to publish about a month of games upcoming, though sometimes it would be up in the air till the last minute, I believe.

Hope that’s right for international subscribers, not a season ticket holder though my annual Hibs TV pass is my default season ticket.

Should be the same scenario as last season in that case
