I know some of this is being covered in the 'Another Black American...' thread, but I think it merits a thread of its own just now.

Another day where Police Scotland had to lock down George Square in Glasgow because a large group of right-wing Sevconian morons turned up chanting 'Rule Britannia' and shouting 'Fenian *******s' as they descended on an asylum seeker protest against evictions. Unsurprisingly, violent scenes emerge shortly thereafter (videos doing the rounds on Twitter, again).

It's the same faces, same hatred, same violence and same ideology we'd normally see at this time of the year - clearly these brainless twats are making up for losing their marching season by organising themselves into a baying mob to 'protect Britishness and Unionism/Protestant identity' (which they seem to believe is being eroded).

I'd never resort to the sectarian tit-for-tat, but this lot really are next-level ****.

2 or 3 years ago I was on holiday in Spain and on a Saturday evening went to Mass at a local church, the Mass was celebrated in an outside area in front of the Church itself and there was a decent number in attendance made up of locals and tourists.

Just as the Liturgy of the Eucharist was taking place a family gathered, as a few had, to see what was going on. This lot were head to toe in Rangers leisurewear though. They watched for a few moments before a horrified look of realisation spread across their faces. The conversation that followed was as ridiculous as it was tragic:

Hard to imagine they were picking any side other than 'Celtic's'. Why attend as 'the Green Brigade'? More likely just looking for a bit of verbals/aggro with any Sevco fans who showed up. The fact there were more police in George Square yesterday than 'demonstrators' just reminds us of what a pain in the erse the Old Firm game must be to police.

On a slightly lighter note,they seem incapable of attending pretty much any kind of event without dressing in their tribal garb. Hence the hilarious sight of families waddling about on holiday in full football kit. (And out for the evening too).
