View Full Version : Treadmill Servicing

Bought a second hand Reebok Z8 treadmill yesterday to try and keep the lockdown beef off. It came from an elderly couple who appear to have purchased it several years ago but found that knee replacements mean it wasn't for them. It is nine years old but has had very light use and appears to have sat in a garage for a few years. I noticed the belt was slipping but some silicone oil and a tightening of the deck screws seem to have fixed that. Where I am struggling slightly - and this sounds daft - is securely attaching the console legs to the deck.

Three bolts on each side (which to be fair, while the treadmill was sturdy before being dismantled to be transported, do seem to have been relatively short) and I can barely get one of them in on each. Anyone had a similar issue (or can recommend a treadmill servicing person who could perhaps give the whole unit a once over?)
