The Ballie Gifford guy isn't the only footy fan with extremely deep pockets and now he's got the ball rolling I wonder if anyone else will step forward to help pick up the tab.

Guys like Rod Stewart and Billy Connolly like the odd trip to Parkhead and they could cover it with what's fallen down the back of the sofa. Within the Scottish game Aberdeen seem to have benefactors of their own and our own owner has a few quid kicking about too.

If others help spread the load it would look a lot better.
