I’m very much frustrated we can’t play football.

I certainly wouldn’t quantify my point in the way he did or in anyway agree with his supporting comment, but I am certainly frustrated to the max.

Well you could take that comment out of the whole article. :greengrin

In theory you can socially distance doing those activities.

You really can't playing or watching football.

it has nothing to do with people who have chosen to sunbathe or be at the beach.

Over 350 studies undertaken on where infectivity happens. Only 1 example of transmission was in the open air. The rest where indoor or on transport.

Are you trying to use this to support an early return to football or to trash KBs observation?

That’s all very well but football stadiums although outdoors it’s impossible to keep even 1 metre from the person next to you or indeed in front or behind you never mind 2. One of the test track and trace questions to a person infected is about being with someone less than 2 metres from someone for more than 15 minutes. Paraphrased but that’s the time and distance. Imagine the risk and subsequent work involved in tracing that. There won’t be big crowds at football or concerts etc for a good while.

I like his opinion of Budge and where the Jambos are at, but I worry about the fact I am singing from the same song sheet as Boyd, for whom I have no respect whatsoever.

Kris Boyd should have been a Hearts player. Obnoxious erse could have been a legend there.

Neither. I’m just quoting an interesting fact that I heard this morning which will clearly have an influence on wether or not we’ll see football with fans any time soon. A fact that surprised me.

No sir. It's exactly because of people like YOU that we can't play.
People scared of their own shadow because the gov tells them to be.
People scared of the suns "damaging rays" hahahaha. The list goes on.

There was a saying when I played football "pull your socks up and get on wi it". If I was caught being such a coward scared of a virus I would've been dropped in a heartbeat.

You know when you read a post and you're not sure if you've had a "woosh" moment, so you read it again and are still no clearer?

Is your post a joke?

Why were people's socks down in the first place? Were shinguards banned when you played (perhaps because they're for cissies)? :dunno:

6,000,000 infections and over 370,000 deaths so far. And all because they never just 'got on wi it'.

When you played, did you pull your socks up over your face?

Problem is football stadiums contain indoor spaces as well. In the case of Easter Road, I sit in the top of the West stand so need to climb a number of flights of internal stairs. So thats thousands of people crammed together in an indoor space for several minutes.
