Just saw a piece on GMB about Accies decontamination units that spray players with a mist of natural acid that kills all germs. Great bit of innovation from John Mcmenemy (Accies physio).
The reporters reckoned that this could be used going through pub doors, which I'm sure we agree is an added bonus.

That sounds encouraging but how would that prevent someone coughing up droplets of the virus once past the decontamination unit? Didn't see the piece, just wondering.

Thankfully, these reporters are not in charge of public health as the idea has more holes than swiss cheese.

If the players have a shower and put on clean clothes then this decontamination unit adds nothing.

The majority of infection is passed by droplets from coughs etc being spread in confined spaces...........like pubs etc

This one sounds like an advertorial for the guy that runs his fitness business out of Accies Stadium.
