I see Douglas Ross thinks Cummings should get a red card.

Fair play to him breaking ranks .. but shouldn’t this be a Holy Ground post?

Must be into the last 350 days of the UK union now.
Indyref next spring and a nice wee 65-70% majority to get us out of Cummings, Johnson, Raab, Patel & Gove's nightmarish grip
It really cant come around quick enough

Do me a favour and keep your politics out of this football forum. Thanks in advance

I was expecting humorous responses such as he flagged him offside etc, him being a linesman.

I notice that Jason has even made a comment about the situation.

I thought that as well, actually.

To be honest, you didn't need to respond. Given the title is political and another already informed of where it should be, clearly there is a place on the football forum for it.

The title was not political though. It was about a grade 1 football official. Springbanks comment did not have any comment regarding football, it was purely political.

I will ask you in future before I respond to a thread to see if ok. Thanks

Douglas Ross is a serving conservative MSP, therefore political in nature. However, I’m sure you are old enough to check yourself on posting.

He's resigned as a junior minister in the UK government so he's a tory MP.

Is he maybe shaping up for a pitch at Carlaw's job?

I read that he makes £15000 a year for being a linesman and referee. I am in the wrong job.

In the Daily Record (I won't post a link) talking about he gets called things like a "Tory *******" at games.

Here's an idea for you - if you want people to be glowing about your politics, then don't stand for a party who have cut millions of people into poverty and into the queues for foodbanks, brought about the far right enabling Brexit which will see our standard of life fall off a cliff and also led us to both the worst records in Covid deaths and a horrendous economic impact compared to other countries in the continent.

Then people may not be so angry at you.

Also, try to talk about these things when there are fans at the games. It seems far more apt to talk about it then.
