I’d say it’s retirement or part time football now for Swanson.

Had high hopes for him and was really pleased when we signed him. One of those players you really wanted to do well for Hibs.

What's Kenny Miller up to these days? Could do a job up front.

Had wanted us to sign him ever since his DU days where he seemed to rip us apart every time he played us.

Had a great game against Celtic but other than that he was pretty poor on the whole.

Strange that he didn’t start the next game after his brilliant display against Celtic. Could have really kicked on but sadly he didn’t get many more starts .

To be fair he fulfilled a specific tactical role against Celtic, and allan-mcgeouch-mcginn were such a brilliant trio that it made sense to keep playing them all when available

yeah didn't really cut it with us, mind you it's hard to know the impact of his mate getting murdered had on his mental health. (pretty sure he said it hit him hard)
Maybe he could do a job for Edinburgh City ?

Either way, he lived the dream briefly...think we'd all have some of that.

That would be a big drop from Premiership to League Two. Much rather see him win player of the year for a title winning Dundee next season ☺

Yes the death hit him very hard but his social life didn't help either, don't think he was ever fit when he was here, always looked to be carrying a bit of timber.

Thought that as well when he was with us but saw him last season/this season on Sportscene and looked in shocking nick.

Lived the dream though. Fair play to the guy.

One of Lennon's poorest signings

But harsh. There's few ahead of Swanson.

Good luck to him.

Really wasn't THAT good against Celtic. Just the only above average game for us.

To be fair, he wasn't a Hibs player at the time & he continued to perform for St Johnstone in the aftermath. A good player for a smallish club where there's no pressure to achieve, flopped at both Edinburgh teams.

Swanson was excellent vs celtic and i dont know why anyone would say different (although in somecases its pretty obvious). Had good battle with brown and won it.
