"However, we also know some people face real challenges. The club will deal fairly with all supporters. Those fans wishing to have the unused portion of their ticket refunded should email us at tickets@hibernianfc.co.uk with their season ticket client reference number(s) before 5pm on May 29.

Supporters who email us by this deadline will be refunded for the four games lost against the value they paid for their season ticket. "

Well done Hibs. Never in doubt.

Would contribute to a crowd funding type thing to offset some of the loss if there was one. I am far from flush but can afford another £20 if it came to it.

Not everyone can and I am not looking to open a can of worms either.

I'm outraged.

A statement based on logic and reason that recognises the context of the bigger picture.

Hibs will really need to up their game next season if we are to stand any chance of winning the statement league. 😡😡😡

Nb. Great from the club, I won't be seeking a refund but I recognise others may not be in as fortunate a position as myself and so it's great to see Hibs act swiftly in this regard.

Like majority here, not bothered about refund for this season.
However, much as Hearts demise brings a smile to the face, there is one initiative they have introduced that I have to applaud. Anyone buying a ST for next season is guaranteed a minimum of 18 games for the outlay. This means 2 things imo.
1) They’ve accepted their fate in the Championship 😃 - 18 home games.
2) Regardless of when next season starts or how many games it provides (should it be curtailed), any unused tickets will be held over to the 21/22 season if necessary.
Could Hibs do the same? Thoughts.🤔

Just a thought, having already bought next seasons season ticket, to further help the club, once all the refunds had been agreed and issued out, I'd be willing to donate as a gift the value of one refund. If enough folks did that perhaps we could balance the books on refunds issued out. We'd obviously have to do this in secret so as to negate any opportunists claiming when initially they might have decided not to, I know the four others I go with would all gladly help empty my pockets if given half a chance :greengrin

Wonder how those who were slating the club a few weeks ago for not offering refunds on a season that hadn’t been brought to a close yet feel now. Club have played this outstandingly well through Covid and the shambles that has unfolded in the last few weeks. Quiet, unassuming, going about our businesses and, most of all, looking after our club in the most positive way so that when we come out of this pandemic, we will be in the best position we possibly can to pick up where we left off.

I think it's something like that, so a refund for a kids ticket in the FF Lower would be about £10 and a full adult ticket would be roughly £80.

Mmm, if you’ve no option not to then this amount of cash is unlikely to be the fix required.

What with the various schemes in place, payment breaks, lack of other costs just now I’m not so sure that Covid will have impacted to that extent a significant amount of those who have already paid this money away.

I hope the club don’t take too much of a hit here as that money has already been used.Hibs like all other clubs will suffer financial consequences of this crisis and as for taking a hit obviously we all hope that it isn`t too serious a hit but think any club that didn`t at least offer a part refund (or other compensation - merchandise , TV deal, tickets for 21 / 22 etc ) would be open to criticism or worse ( legal action ) . I`m not quite sure I understand the rest of what you say . That very few people have been so badly affected financially that they might appreciate refund of 80 pounds ? There are probably people who buy several season tickets for their families so suddenly that`s several hundred pounds which is a lot of money if your income has fallen dramatically which will be the case for many people . In the case of the self - employed that may mean fallen to below zero income . I am self employed with a small business in Spain so don`t know exactly what help is available to self - employed and workers in general in the UK but I can understand 100% why some people might ask for a refund . I`ve yet to renew the KFK season tickets I`ve bought since scheme started and will soon have to renew my Hibs TV International subscription - I`ll do both even if I have to borrow to do it but later than other years because obviously the welfare of my workers` families is more important than me getting to see Hibs online . That would be the same if I was based in Edinburgh . I realise that you`re talking of refunds for 19 / 20 and I`m talking of 20 / 21 tickets but I still think it`s important that people remember that a lot of fans are in a very difficult situation at present even if an amazing number have already renewed their STs .

We have and army of friends and family that all donate a fiver a month to his ongoing treatment. He was due to go to America in July but obviously that is on the back burner for now

It's not a problem mate. My son was 13 by the time we went private but had problems since he was 6. It takes its toll on the whole family. After our fundraising he has done really well and got back to Easter road for first time in 3 years before the lock down. Our page on Facebook was pandas boi. Keep fighting and message me through the page if you need any help. Also I have 3 season tickets now so happy for you to use one of them at a game once football is back.

Over the years I have heard stories of our fans going the extra mile to help other fans on our forums from small gestures to the one I’ve just read makes me so proud to be a hibby we really are a “community club “” in the real sense

more than happy for hibs to keep my money, fortunate to not have been financially impacted by what's happened but i know a lot of folk aren't in the same boat.

However, much as Hearts demise brings a smile to the face, there is one initiative they have introduced that I have to applaud. Anyone buying a ST for next season is guaranteed a minimum of 18 games for the outlay. This means Regardless of when next season starts or how many games it provides (should it be curtailed), any unused tickets will be held over to the 21/22 season if necessary.
Could Hibs do the same? Thoughts.🤔

I would welcome this. We have 3 season tickets, not renewed yet, & really struggling with it, as i doubt we will see any matches until next year at the earliest
