The Ashes 2005 : The Greatest Series, well worth a watch on All4.

It was some series. Will look it up for a rewatch. I got into cricket in Australia, so my affinities lie there but cricket is cricket, and you can appreciate the opposition just being better.

But in the spirit of partisanship, I will cite the early nineties series where Australia came to England and absolutely flattened them as my greatest series :greengrin
