A shame. Was very good to listen to on the excellent Famous 5 documentary. RIP.

Sorry to hear this.

Famous Five way before my time, and I know embarrassingly little about the supporting cast.

Good to celebrate the life of someone who wasn’t part of that front line but helped them achieve great things.

The BBC alba documentary is brilliant and well worth a watch.

I was about to post similar. Actually quite embarrassed at not knowing more about the other members of that great team. It wasn't just the five of them that won titles after all.

Was nice learning more about this great man.

RIP John.

Well respected at Leicester City. I think they had him back at the club to celebrate their league win.
