Quick question if so please? I had a bit of an inflamed ankle recently it wasn’t painful but I did feel a little bit fluid in my feet area. Now this has gone (I thought it was because I’ve been putting steroid cream that doctor prescribes for psoriasis on my leg but now I’ve noticed my legs actually quite tender above my ankle and there’s a kind of inflamed mark all around my leg.

Is this something to worry about? Could it coincide with fever/tiredness I’ve had last couple of days?

Thanks.

Better if you can get it checked out in case it has been cellulitis in which case possibly need antibiotics

I'm not a medic by any means but it defo sounds like cellulitis. Phone your gp surgery today for advice, you'll need to inform them of your temp although I suspect you'll be asked anyway.

You cant go in especially with a temp. You should be self isolating until you know what's causing that . Our GP surgery is locked and its telephone appointments first to determine if you need seen and where

I told the doctor I had a temp earlier on phone call. I have to press buzzer at front door and she will meet me with proper equipment on to meet at 10am tomorrow that was her instructions and I gave her full symptoms. I don’t think she was overly concerned but will probably need antibiotics.

Good stuff. hopefully they will clear it up quickly.

Was cellulitis mate. Got antibiotics to get it under control no concerns over sepsis phew 👍

Thank you, it’s appreciated.
