That is truly amazing, well done Nairn County, what a magnificent gesture.
Let's hope other clubs follow their example if they're able to.

What's so brilliant about this? It's good that they've been prudent in the past and I'm happy for them that they can pay their bills for the time being, but they haven't done anything spectacular.

It's normal business practice.

Brilliant from Nairn. If I ever adopt a Highland League team in the future it will be them.

You read both pages?

One of the biggest clubs in the country has just said its cutting staff wages by half. A Highland League club has confirmed it will still pay staff costs and bills, stuff they need next season whenever that starts they'll pay for it now to help businesses cashflow, offering their social media pages to advertise local businesses and services and offered to walk the dug, collect prescriptions and pick up messages for anyone that ends up in isolation. Far from "normal business practice".

Having now read the rest, I'm happy to stand corrected and agree with everyone else.

Fantastic read that. Maybe someone should share it with someone like Gary Lineker. It's nice reading some good news stories.

Nairn's a great place to visit.
