I don't think Hearts were. Aberdeen were I think (Falkirk couldn't get promoted when they were still at Brockville).

I think that was to do with the, now defunct, 10,000 all seater stadium rule?

I think both saved them. Reconstruction and 10,000.

Nah, they’ve just been saved many times by blatant cheating.

:top marks

Robinson had them saddled baw deep under 30 million or more of debt with romanov the crook then lavishing upon them squillions more that was on the never never and never to be paid back either.

They should have been liquidated with their stadium sold to the highest bidder. Jammy sods.

Get a grip. You knew exactly what he meant ffs.

On topic: No. I don’t think they’ve ever been saved by league reconstruction.

No league is being halted here. Hearts relegated and Dundee United promoted.

Motherwell were once saved by league reconstructing. I think Butcher was the manager funnily enough..

Falkirk were involved as they were when Aberdeen were also "saved" when 2nd bottom and would have gone into a playoff.

Never required as Falkirk didn't have the requisite stadium to be promoted which was 10,000 seats.

Cant recall Hearts ever being saved in previous years though obviously might get a get out of jail card this time around.

Yes, but that doesn't mean I should have no fun.

At my age, sarcasm is about the only fun I have left.

Not to my knowledge.
But its is an udeniable fact that Hibs were saved relegation by league reconstruction just after the failed M*rcer takeover.

That’s an urban myth. There was league reconstruction but it didn’t save Hibs - it saved St Mirren who finished bottom season 1990/91 (only the bottom side were relegated in the 10 team format).

Spot on. Hibs never finished in a relegation spot that year Tom.

It's from the same people that claim that Hibs dumped millions of debt when we had financial difficulties around the same time.... meaning Jambos.
