Was never going to end well. Even if he was the best manager in the world (he definitely isn't), the style of play he wants needs a certain type of player and time to coach them on it. He had a few months to work miracles and a team of cloggers to work with.

I have a nasty feeling in the break he'll get punted, they'll get in a Scottish manager and Hearts will stay up doing what they do best - kicking lumps out of folk and playing route one football.

When I was at sea we ran down to La Rochelle on the West coast of France for a while to load barley. That’s where the submarine pens are that appeared in some of the scenes. Very recognisable but really sinister looking.

There are submarine pens constructed by the Nazis at Lorient and St Nazaire in Brittany. They have a former French Navy sub, based on wartime German designs available for an audio described tour at Lorient.
