We need to win and we will.

Fans need to get behind the team though if it isn't going well after 20-30 minutes.

Blind optimism. Why else do we go 🙂

2-0 Hibs. I have no logical reason at all, I just want that to happen.:greengrin

Really important match . Not sure a win will be enough to get us in top 6 - will probably need to beat Hamilton too - but in worst case 3 points on Saturday would be 3 points more away from trouble at bottom of league .

We are a better team than them and proved away from home against them... we just need to apply ourselves and the victory will come.. that’s my opinion anyway.... it doesn’t have to be based on anything anyway, I am a hibee and always go into the games with a positive attitude

St Johnstone are rarely a pushover but I'm predicting a home win. Could be a tight one but as long as we get all three points it won't matter.

Sure I seen that there unbeaten in 5 at Easter road, would love a big win but can see a draw.

And weirdly we are unbeaten in our last 5 at McDiarmid (won the last 2 and drew the 3 games before that 1-1).

2-2 draw after leading 2-0 at half time

It's a Hibs Kids game on Saturday. Previous Hibs kids games this season:

26 Oct Ross County 2-2
30 Nov Killie 2-2
1 Feb St Mirren 2-2

Last home game against St Johnstone, 2-2.

If I were a betting man...

Thier record recently at Easter Rd suggests we need to be at our best to beat them
Newell still not definite to start and if he does not match fit McNulty still suspended
They will be happier with a draw as have s game in hand
All points to us having g to attack and score 3 to win as we can’t keep a clean sheet
On form of last three games am not confident
So big test fir Management team and players to get everything g right in this one
Sadly I think best we will get is a draw

Call me over optimistic but I think we'll win by a couple of goals.

I think it's now too late for a European place but I just want us to finish as high up the league as possible.

Sounds like it was the sending off that cost us against Aberdeen, and we were pretty dominant until then. I'd stick with the shape and bring Slivka in for Whittaker.

I’m hoping that Boyle’s talking up our team ‘bottle’ ( or lack of it ) will maybe cause our opponents to think we are a soft touch and underestimate us. By the same token, I hope his words spur the team to go for the jugular and we can get back to winning ways. A narrow win for us.

Going for a 3-1 win. Doidge to get at least one of them. Hopefully Newell fit .

Went for a win, but not confident. St Johnstone seem to like visiting ER and in fact were responsible for the one game in the 45 years I've been going to ER where I walked out at full time and seriously questioned whether it was worth ever coming back.

If we are to retain any chance of 4th place and Europe we have to win games like this, its that simple.

All negative options so none of the above.

I vote for...

“Got a feeling our run of defeats will end”

(this “run of defeats” being 2 games)

or just...

“Hibs will win”

We produced our best performance of the season when we gubbed them 1-4 up in Perth. Let's hope we can do the same on Saturday.

I've got a feeling we're going to click. A goal early on and end up winning 4 or 5-0.

One thing is for sure they will be up for it from the start and right in about us knowing that we are struggling to beat teams that have a go and shut is down ..so our attitude must be right no half arsed **** from certain players or wandering about when they lose or don't get the ball ...big decision rests with Newell in or not ? And hopefully Halberg in for Whitts ...oh and does Rocky keep the between the sticks gig ? Cos they will put corners and crosses on top of him Tommy Wright will make sure they are prepared to play us properly ..hope JR can motivate our lot in the same way ...

Any win will do, but feels like another draw after us being ahead.
