I have seen a few of these videos as well. Thing to remember whatever you pull out of the river/canal if it's just junk or scrap, which I would guess at least 90% of it is, you shouldn't toss it back again. So if you were to give it a go make sure you can dispose of whatever you dredge up properly. Most of the youtubers you see have a van to chuck all the c**p in afterwards.
