Montford bar is our side of Hampden and might take you in (would imagine others buses might already be booked in). Opens at 11 but is basically only a 5 minute walk to Hampden so better for a 12.15 kick off IMO.

A nightmare getting the first round in after opening but soon settles down.

Don't fancy that at all. You'd need to have everyone on the bus to leave for 11.30 to make sure they are in their seat at Hampden for 12.15. Each to their own though.

What about a bar/place in Edinburgh that can do drinks and breakfast then get the bus slightly later?
Anyone doing that?

I’ve checked and the KingsPark Hotel is usually good but hosting Jambos! (Wtf).

Any others known?

I thought you could only drink from a certain time during AM time? Am I wrong?

There’s not many places at the East end of Hampden which are a good size. Few places in Rutherglen usually open to Hibs fans, Sky Bar, 100 Acre are a couple which spring to mind - but I’ve hit issues in the past with the early license laws, there’s not many places have one in Glasgow around Hampden so generally don’t sell alcohol until 11 I think it is.

I was going to suggest Mount Florida Bowling Club... but I think it finally closed down in November.

I realise it goes against the grain but, Celtc have been very welcoming in arranging functions at their stadium before for some groups visiting Hampden.

Thanks for the replies folks, it appears that it is 11 am opening across the board so hardly worth arranging anything those that want a pint can go to Montfords.

I think the bowling clubs in Busby and Clarkston are generally quite accommodating

Hibs used the Kerrydale suite for the hospitality option in 2016 and have to say it was brilliant, well looked after.

The Allison Arms is a cracking pub, will probably be quite mixed pre/post match.
