We went into this thinking we were winning it by two, three goals, we were stonewall favourites with the bookies, but as I’ve always said, it doesn’t matter how many points are between the teams or how higher your in the league than them, a Derby is a Derby and everything changes for this one game. They’ve been in the position we’re in at the moment and we’ve beaten them, this time it was their turn. Our problem was for this one game we massively underestimated them and for that we were punished. Their will to win was way stronger than ours, they beat us in every position and fully deserved their win.
They won’t play like that again this season and more likely than not, they’ll lose their next game.
We just have to accept this and move on.

Don’t disagree with wot you said but have to ask WHY when we know they’d be up for it we weren’t?
Every time this match comes around we trot out all the usual guff about “a derby” then fail. Having watched Hibs since the1960s only Turnbulls Tornados and The Millennials consistently had the upper hand against that manky mob. The common denominator? In my opinion these teams had winners. If it was going bad they went better. If the opposition were aggressive they matched and bettered. Christ we even knew what they’d do last night and stood back and let them 😡
