Looking ahead to possible outcomes for the remainder of the season...

If Celtic win the cup and finish top three (they will) - fourth place in the league qualifies for Europe.

If Aberdeen win the cup and finish top three (possible) - fourth place in the league qualifies for Europe.

If Hea... I'll stop there actually :greengrin

Third spot of course is still very much acheivable for us but with fourth a potential Euro place as well as us heading back to Hampden next month, this season, after such a grim start, has the potential to be very very positive for us. Funny old game ain't it.

Funny to think that after being 1 point off the bottom, we could finish the season as Scottish Cup winners in 3rd or 4th. Of course we could also finish 6th with no trophy, but it's much better to be optimistic and ambitious.

A fitting indicator of how well Jack Ross has done that we've got a lot to play for at this stage of the season.

Our season could end up being a very good one, especially when you consider where we were when Ross came in.

There’s a lot of games still to play and either make our season hit or miss.

Finishing 3rd/4th, a final and Europe would be one of the best seasons we’ve had in a long time.

Alternatively we could finish 6, no cup final and not in Europe.

Hope the players all knuckle down and hit form for the remainder of the season and show a real consistency which they’ve done this year so far.

Hearts, even though they’re bottom of the league are always difficult opposition for us and will raise their game. We need to hit them fast from the beginning, be ruthless infront of goal and match/better their effort and work rate.

Hearts will be right up for it as theyre always up for it against us and will raise their game massively. They’re fighting for survival and will want to put one over us.
