During yesterday’s Scottish Cup quarter final at Tynecastle an object was thrown at and struck the Hearts goalkeeper. It was clearly thrown from within the The Rangers supporters.

Similar incidents have been SMSM headline reports in the past, complete with foe outrage, when objects have been thrown by Hearts, Celtic and Hibs fans at the same venue. But last night on Sportscene and this morning in the press? Nothing!

This behaviour is utterly wrong and dangerous. It is a criminal assault on someone simply doing their day job. Surely our press are not just ignoring it. Where is the Daily Record/Sunday Mail outrage? Where is the BBC condemnation? What did Chick Young see? Where is Jim Traynor’s full account of unprovoked assault?

It could be that police Glasgow's crack spot a hun throwing a coin squad are still 100% focused on catching whoever threw a coin at Lennon all those months ago.

Deliberate use of a grave accent ( ` ) instead of an apostrophe ( ' ) - lose 10 points.

The use of the apostrophe or not in such words is deemed acceptable nowadays.

:agree: Even in the workplace it seemed (when I was at your place) to be deemed a bit surplus to requirements.

eta - a bit like me at the end :greengrin

By who? It's lazy and a bit thick. Let's protect the language.

Apparently it was a two pence coin.

Just a 5% deposit.
