5 strikes - all good, so what’s your pick of the bunch?

I’ve yet to see footage of any of the goals again, but opting for Gullan’s fine finish.

Omeonga. Stunning finish from the wee man. He loves Hibs and you know that goal will mean the world to him.

Omeonga's was the best in terms of quality, but I found Gullen's most aesthetically pleasing. Absolutely delighted for them both

So hard to choose. Omeonga was the best finish but I'd give it to Gullan. Great turn by doidge and strikers finish by Gullan. Seems a natural.

Voted for Stef's, but each had its own beauty. The lift over the goalie from Jackson, the lighting counter from a sticky pen claim finished by Scotty. The space that Doc made for himself and Gullan's flick just adds to a great season and story for a young guy. And that strike into the corner from Omeonga. :not worth

What's not to like just now....!!!

Gullan's and to an extent Jackson's were more technically challenging than Steph's.

Steph shows great composure and skill but Gullan's edges it for me. Movement, at speed, fantastic deft touch. Great goals all round!

Gullane’s was the great finish of a natural goal scorer, and from a great turn and cross from Doidge, but Omeonga’s for me. Superb run and pick out from Doc, and a brilliant, deliberate finish from Stephane. Had a superb angle to see it from the middle of the East.

Can I just say how nice it is to be coming away from Easter Road and having five good-to-great goals to have to choose from? What a nice problem to have. Thanks Jack!

Doidge’s turn in the build-up to Gullan’s goal was the highlight of the night.

Some really good goals though and some attacking play to be proud of.

If we had won one-nil with any of those goals we would be happy enough with the result obviously, but we would also be saying what a great goal it was.

We have been a bit spoiled tonight. For me, Gullan edges it for showing great technique, and he is young and pushing for first team. But I am not complaining about the quality of any of the others :greengrin

Yep, he loved it, they were all good but Omeonga wanted it so bad.

After watching them all again I was starting to err towards Omeonga`s, but the more I watch Gullan`s I feel it was the hardest one to take as he hit it deftly first time on the run and was finishing of the highest standard. The finish of a natural striker.
Allan`s was a bit closer in than I thought it was at game, but that also was a fantastic finish - how many times do you see those chances blasted over the bar?

Five really good goals.

Brilliant post Carheenlea - hard to pick one from that lot but Gullan's from a great piece of play by Doidgie boy is pure class, I wish I had seen your post before I voted for Steph but all good classy goals.

Agreed 5 excellent goals but Doidgie boy's touch, turn and cross followed by the sweetest of finishes from Gullan just oozes class.

Gullan for me. Just because he’s young making his breakthrough. It’s a small chance he makes it but he doesn’t hurt himself with that. Needs to keep it up and force himself into the starting line up.

All great goals and from five different scorers which is good, but Doidge’s turn to take two defenders out, looking up to see where he was crossing the ball then a lovely touch from Gullan knowing exactly where he was putting it. But yes, they were all good goals and could have been more. GGTTH

Gullan for me.
Hopefully he kicks on from that as having seen his goals for Raith he seems to have an uncanny ability to be in the right place with space, that's something that all good strikers have.
To top it off it was a really classy finish, it would have been so easy to just hit it hard trying to get his 1st senior goal.

They were all good goals but, Omeonga's was the best for me.

Both the sublime pass and the single touch to produce such a fantastic long range strike.

Marvellous

The last one. Looked like the kind of goal Liverpool score, for Firmino read Doidge for Gullan read Mane.

Omeonga's was the best at the game.

The footage gives me a better appreciation of Jackson's touch and Gullan's finish, but the angle from behind of Omeonga's placement when so many would have put the ball over the bar just highlights how technically good that goal was for someone who is not a regular goal scorer.

Looking at Omeonga’s technique in this photo it’s textbook - great composure and never going to be a wild blaze over the bar like so many players are guilty of.

Gullan , goal that would beat most defences, largely down to two very good touches by Doige/ Gullan. The cross and touch across the keeper was sublime

Something a bit special about each to be honest

Gullan.

Doidges turn and cross then Gullans touch was brilliant.

Although I also liked Allan's; Boyle's break, perfectly timed pass, and McNulty selflessly cutting back to Allan.

Adam Jackson's.

For a centre half, that finish in terms of the touch, the anticipation and the movement was absolutely sublime. There are strikers on a hundred grand a week who could have lifted that over the bar.

I cant pick a favourite jacksons for the first with such a sublime touch, allan for the second fast counter flowing break, Doherty's touch to find space for the 3rd, omeongas sweet side foot finish with power, then gullan getting his first with a sweet turn and set up from doidge, all are just as good l, just hope we've kept some for tuesday and that was just a warm up
