Lost Wallet - FF Upper

Lost my wallet at some point between the shops at Lochend and the FF Upper tonight. Only noticed at the end of the game. Just wondering if anyone found it and handed into the club? Had my season ticket etc in it.

Surely not, but I guess you never know.

Frustrating thing for me is I last remember having it after buying something out the shops at Lochend on the way to the stadium so not sure exactly where I’ve lost it. Only noticed when I got to the bottom of the stairs at the end of the game.

Curious as to what pocket people keep their wallets in?

Mine is fight against the thigh on my right hand jeans pocket.

A pickpocket would have to be mighty deft.

Only lost my wallet once in my life. It was on a night out at University and I was absolutely leathered. Guess that has had an affect on me.

Had a group of gypsies try to steal mine when I was in Malaga many years ago.

They were very clever about it, the mother deliberately wedged her pram in the door to a restaurant and I was leaving so tried to un-wedge the door to help her, because I was stretching across the pram one of her other kids tried to slip my wallet out my pocket.

They nearly got away with it but I moved at the last minute and felt my wallet being removed.

The kid was around 7 - they scampered off pretty quickly when I lost my cool.

Sounds very much like some dodgy stuff going on, far too many people in the same area losing their wallets, I always put mine in my front pocket as it's harder to get at.

I don’t have enough pockets to carry what is in my wallet. There is no invitation on my wallet either.

Wrap an elastic band round it. That way it will catch and you'll feel someone trying to take it

Hopefully the lost wallets are found but does seem like it could be pickpocketing unfortunately.

Some ****bags around if stolen. Make sure all bank cards cancelled with contactless payments these days they can go to town on them quickly.

Be a nightmare to lose wallet with debit cards etc in.

Weird.

My son lost his wallet last night too. FF Upper.
Searched the stand after, and reported it to the stewards and to the lass at the desk in the main stand, who promised to phone us with news whether or not it was found.*
Phoned his missus to get bank cards cancelled.

Got back to the car to find it stuck in the side pocket, where he'd put it. :rolleyes:

I'll have a look, but I don't think there were another three there.

Found half a dozen wallets in the FF the other night...

Got notification from the bank to say that someone tried to use my card in Albion Grocer for £8.75 at 2pm today. Strange they’ve waited til today to try.

Not sure what that does to the pickpocket theory! Think I must have lost it after leaving the shops before going to the stadium.
