Wonderful moment for Jamie tonight. Clearly he's deserved his chance and he's now putting real pressure on McNulty for a starting spot. It was a really classy finish. Well done that man.

Shout out to Omeonga for his traction engine-footed first goal for us too.

The whole move for his goal was one of the classiest I’ve seen since Carlos Alberto vs. Italy.

Looking forward to seeing his goal again - not an easy one to tuck away but the finish was top class. Think we’re going to see a bit more of him before seasons out as he looks the part out there.

He looks like he has that bit of power and athleticism Shaw was missing. I'd start him over Mcnulty on Tuesday

Looks a cracking player. He’s really close to a start, possibly should even be getting one imo.

Who cares. I doubt he does and he will be absolutely buzzing tonight after that. Flip of a coin for me whether it's him or McNulty starting on Tuesday.

His grandfather played for both Hearts and us. He was apparently on Hearts books as a kid, Robbo didn’t want them to release him. Explains the warmth of the embrace between them at the end of the game.

Nah. Great to see Jamie develop , but McNulty’s experience and movement..he has to start ...

The lad looks a good 'un. Plays with confidence which is a difficult thing to do when coming of the bench with little or no time to state your case for future selection.

There’s something of real quality about Gullan. Could be best prospect we have had since the Mowbray days.

Looked good and took goal well.

He has the quickness and strength to make it - got a good feeling about Him doing well having watched him do well in dev team.

Indeed. He's done nothing more than Ross Caldwell yet and much less than Shaw. Needs games to improve.

He is making excellent progress and is getting a chance to show how good he is. Reminds me of Porteous in that the physical side is no issue and he looks very confident and is playing his own game not trying not to make mistakes. The run and finish tonight were very impressive as was the set up from Doidge

Delighted he got a decent ten mins and of course the goal tonight. Well played wee man. Let’s get a goal on Tuesday and you can start chasing JC’s tally in the derbies.

Jamie just needs to keep doing, what he’s been doing all season, and he’ll continue to get opportunities at Hibs

With the exception of winning, the best thing about tonight was him getting a goal.

It got the biggest cheer from the crowd. And the players were clearly buzzing for him. Brilliant.

His goal was excellent and saw him in the areas I had been expecting to see him in and about against Livi last Saturday. We've got a special player here I reckon.

He’s a player I really rate and expect to become a first team regular.

He’s got the self belief, speed and power to make it that I think some of our previous youngsters never had.

Even if he never scored tonight, he was very good in possession and ran with the ball, beating his man on a couple of occasions.

Don’t underestimate the finish too, very difficult chance on his weaker foot which he took brilliantly.

The coach taking the younger kids at the tour of EM said the next generation of kids are bigger, fitter, faster and stronger than the previous.

Liked what I saw tonight

Well built, quick and assured. Very nice goal. This what it looks like when a talent grabs their chance. Decent option for the bench next week. Hope he gets more game time in the run in. It will be exciting to watch him.

As for the Jambo stuff - even funnier when they hand us a real talent and hold onto the numpties they have:flag:
