Best refs around are still Steven McLean and Bobby Madden but Newlands isn't that bad to be honest.

It's the standard of linesman that needs completely addressed in my opinion. The best one was female (Kylie McMullan) by a distance.

I think you will find the term linesman no longer exists. They are now called assistant referees. As for Bobby Madden being a decent referee you have to be on the windup.
