Quite amused to see Aberdeen complaining they lose fans to amateur, junior, and HL games

We do too Jack, especially Sunday games

I wasn't aware we had a problem with this Billy, more the fact that they're generally moved for tv, which affects attendance. :dunno:

The young lads I take all play Sunday football, so generally they can’t do Sunday games

Used to see a reasonable increase in Hibs attendances in the 80`s and 90`s if the council pitches were deemed unplayable, not sure if it would still be the same now.

So Aberdeen want to take all the fans away from HL and Junior teams. That’s nice of them

One club with a multi millionaire funding them. The others relying on a few punters through the door to survive.

Why should we or anyone for that matter give them an advantage?

Right decision by Hibs. Enough games get moved for TV without agreeing to move another to a Saturday night to let Aberdeen try to get more fans in.

But it’s a bit of a cheek expecting our fans to be travelling back late o’clock, just to help them swell the home end .

Is this the same Aberdeen that had their game in Edinburgh moved to 2pm on a Saturday to allow their fans more time to get back up the road in the evening?

Fair enough with Sunday games, but this is a 3pm Saturday game...

The right decision to say no. However the Aberdeen owner seems to be doing a good job of thinking outside the box and trying to raise revenues and attendances.

Good shout - I can feed that in (nae pun intended).

There has been similar done at Hibs from working groups that will shape next season and beyond. Being flexible and adaptable to further fan feedback in the future would be ideal (think everyone would agree we’re a bit static at the moment).

Can't blame them for asking but right answer to tell them to ram it.
